Business nature    The Group is engaged principally in the research and development, production and sale of single use medical devices under the brandname ˇ§Jeriuisˇ¨. The Group has developed an extensive customer base with its products sold to over 2500 healthcare institutions such as hospitals and blood centers and over 1,000 trading companies.
Prospects    In 2010, the management expects the prices of raw materials will continue to be on an upward trend. The rise in labor cost coupled with the economic recovery will also exert a greater pressure on costs. In general, easing pressure on costs will be the top priority of the Group. Moreover, with the tender opening of the high-end consumables in 2010, the management expects there will have a greater pressure on cardiovascular stent prices, which will affect the earning growth of this business segment. With the increase in trade protection, there will be few progress in export market in the short term. As a result, certain verbally agreed export order might also be terminated.
